Mannitol infusion — osmotic therapy to reduce edema, support microcirculation and normalize fluid-electrolyte balance.
Infusion with S.Mannitoli 15% 500 ml (in some cases S.Mannitoli 15% 250 ml may be used). The infusion is performed in the patient's arm using a butterfly needle or intravenous catheter. The infusion is prescribed by the attending physician or physician assistant, taking into account the patient's complaints and examination results. This infusion reduces edema in the spinal canal and brain and normalizes intracranial and intraocular pressure. The infusion is performed with our medication.
