Holter monitoring is a 48-hour electronic record (electrocardiography or ECG) of continuous cardiac activity during the patient's usual activities. Thanks to this method, it is possible to assess the heart rhythm, the occurrence of arrhythmias and their frequency. You will receive an answer electronically by e-mail within 1 working day after removal of the device, and also you can receive a printout. If necessary, if the situation is urgent, a cardiologist will be engaged to give recommendations. We use a small device that will be attached to the lower third of your sternum with 3 electrodes, thus not limiting daily activities. After 48 hours, you need to return to the clinic so we could remove the Holter monitor and check that the record is of high quality and can be further analyzed. If the quality of recording is not sufficient (one of the electrodes has come off), then we will repeat the monitoring without additional payment. The conclusion is ready after 3-5 working days.
