Fetal rhesus factor detection from the mother's blood – non-invasive test from the 11th week of pregnancy.
The test is recommended only for rhesus-negative pregnant women when the father of the child is rhesus-positive – heterozygous, or in situations where there is a lack of complete information about the rhesus factor of the biological father of the child. In the GenEra laboratory, this test can only be performed in cases where it is clearly known that the parents of the baby are of European origin. This limitation is due to the fact that in people of other races and backgrounds, the reason for rhesus negativity is genetically different from that identified in this test.
