Rhesonativ is an immunoglobulin and contains antibodies against the Rhesus (Rhesus, Rh) factor. If a woman who does not have the Rh factor in her red blood cells (is Rh-negative) is pregnant and her unborn child has the Rh factor (is Rh-positive), her immune system may be stimulated to produce antibodies against the Rhesus factor. These antibodies can harm the unborn child, especially in future pregnancies.
