The nasogastric tube is inserted through the patient's nose (one nostril), throat and esophagus directly into the stomach. If our tube is used, then it is a regular Ch14; Ch16 or Ch18-sized tube, which is intended for 72 hours. If the patient needs a silicone tube with a stylet, then it is provided by the patient himself or his relatives.
