Treatment and dressing of a secondary healing wound over 20 cm using sterile, disposable equipment.
Service includes the treatment and dressing of a secondary healing wound (infected postoperative wound, dog/cat bite wound, trophic ulcers, bedsores, burns, etc.) over 20 cm (either one wound or several together) using sterile, disposable equipment. If necessary, a Mesalt or sterile glove drain can be inserted into the wound. If special medications or patches are required for wound dressing (e.g. Insite gel; zinc bandages; Mepilex; Mepilex Ag; etc.), then they are purchased by the patient or the patient's relatives. If our medications/materials are used, patient pays for them separately. The frequency of dressings is determined by the physician assistant, assessing the local condition of the wound, and taking into account recommendations from the hospital (although the situation may change over time, so the physician assistant will recommend the optimal dressing frequency depending on the condition of the wound).
