Service includes the treatment and dressing of primary postoperative wounds over 20 cm (either one wound or several together) using sterile, disposable equipment. If necessary, a Mesalt or sterile glove drain can be inserted into the wound, in which case the wound will be treated as secondarily healing. The frequency of dressings is determined by the physician assistant, assessing the local condition of the wound, and recommendations from the hospital are also taken into account (although the situation may change over time, so the physician assistant will advise you on the optimal frequency of dressings depending on the condition of the wound).
